Sensex, Nifty, Share Prices LIVE: Indian shares are set for a subdued start on Wednesday, tracking global stocks which fell after U.S. data suggested the Federal Reserve might delay interest rate cuts. The SGX Nifty was at 22,457, indicating the NSE Nifty 50 would open near Tuesday’s close. Wall Street indexes dropped about 1% and 10-year Treasury yields rose after data showed steady labour demand. Markets expect a rate cut in June, but strong U.S. economic data has raised doubts. Asian markets opened lower, with the MSCI Asia ex-Japan index down 0.7%. Analysts predict consolidation in India’s Nifty 50 and BSE Sensex near record highs before the RBI’s monetary policy decision and the upcoming corporate earnings season. Foreign investors sold ₹1,623 crore of shares, while domestic institutions bought ₹1,953 crore on Tuesday.
